Wrapped Around Her Finger
The morning Amanda and I met I was running late for work. It had been weeks since I began my new-found appreciation for women, all women regardless of skin tone.
I held my coffee in one hand and my brief case in the other as I entered the building where I worked. I saw a woman standing in front of the elevators who was well-dressed and looking perplexed.
Her confused gaze focused on the building’s directory. She looked like the kind of girl who didn’t like to ask for help, the self-reliant type.
At first glance I found this woman attractive, she had shoulder length blonde.

About Jody Whitaker
Growing up in the modest section of the California suburbs posed an interesting problem: There wasn’t a school district ordained sex education curriculum.
The youngest of three children, the baby, as Mom would say. At the age of 15, Jody turned on a late night radio show called Love Line, a sexual issue and relationship call-in talk show. Intrigued, Jody sought out a D.I.Y. sex education, one in which the school didn’t provide.
Although a mature sexual education came early for Jody, writing came much later in life. The convergence of the two loves was inevitable. Jody is still learning about sex, writing about sex as well as just writing.
Flirting with gender rolls is Jody’s current writing flavor - for the moment.
Jody resides in the Arctic North with one spouse, three children (two boys, one girl), a black lab, a Mini-Pinscher, two tabbies, 7 to 9 fish (the guppies keep dying), and two Ferrets.

Immutable: Memory
Jody Whitaker is currently working on a novel titled “Immutable: Memory”.
Hes in the process of editing the current endeavor and writing down ideas for the next book in the series “Immutable: Witness”.
The Immutable series will be offered as a free serialized audiobook at Podiobooks.com. The author will follow in the large footsteps of another great and wonderful author Kimberly Steele. Although Jody hopes the series is as dark, interesting, sexual, historical, and taboo as the author of Forever Fifteen he gave it his best effort.

Melanie is a snarky, cynical twenty something movie extra. Chase, her live-in boyfriend, is a ghost writer for Ask Maggie, a local relationship advice column. They both consider themselves to be ‘GGG’, Good Giving and Game for whatever sexual whims that trips the other’s fancy. Tate, their lazy partial rent paying roommate, is just that: the typical slacker roommate. He jumps from odd job to odd job as well as from girlfriend to girlfriend, whether married, unmarried or otherwise attached. They all share a two bedroom flat with only one restroom on the East-Side of Metro City.

FBI Debriefing Room“Two days ago we received word that a couple of jets, owned by Air America out of Phoenix, were repossessed from a private hanger here in Oakland.” Agent Anderson stated as he stared into a room full of Agents. All were US Government Agents, all of varying acronyms from most segments of the Department of Defense.
“I mean no disrespect to you Sir, but you’ve called us all here for a meeting to tell us about some insignificant aircraft repo. I think it would behoove us to focus on the joint DEA task force in Marin County we’ve been been working so hard on.” Agent Sherwood said sarcastically.
Agent Anderson had been in the FBI for so long that he failed to recognize humor, indifference, as well as sarcastic overtone.

Interracial Couple Denied Marriage License

A justice of the peace in northern Louisiana has refused to grant a marriage license to an interracial couple because he believes it would harm any children born of that relationship.
